Aditya Perdana is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Indonesia. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Hamburg, Germany. His expertise includes governance, elections, civil society, social movements, political parties, gender and politics, and political representation. Before joining academia in 2007, Aditya had extensive experience working with various national NGOs in advocacy and policy reform. He has led various research projects funded by international organizations, focusing on electoral reform, gender quotas, political party dynamics, and civil society sustainability. Aditya has also served as a national facilitator in leadership training programs, specifically to prepare women for electoral roles. He is a prolific author and researcher, with publications in both national and international journals, contributing to the discourse on political representation, electoral governance, and gender equality in Indonesia.
