The Jurnal Politik is an accredited academic journal published by the Department of Political Science, Universitas Indonesia.
It was formerly known as Politea: Jurnal Ilmu Politik, first published in 2007, then renamed Jurnal Studi Politik from 2011 to 2013, before returning in August 2015 under its current name. In its publication, Jurnal Politik collaborates with the Indonesian Association of Political Science Study Programs (APSIPOL).
Jurnal Politik serves as a platform for disseminating scholarly articles and studies on political phenomena as well as social and political thought. As part of its contribution to the development of political science, the journal is published twice a year, in March and September. It welcomes submissions from experts, academics, practitioners, and students. All manuscripts undergo selection by the editors through a blind review process conducted by peer reviewers from various universities and academic institutions at both national and international levels.
