Dirga Ardiansa, S.Sos., M.Si.

Biography

Dirga Ardiansa is a lecturer at the Department of Political Science, Universitas Indonesia, specializing in social research methods, social statistics, and Indonesian electoral politics. Active in teaching since 2005, he completed his Master of Science degree at IPB University and Bachelor of Political Science at Universitas Indonesia. His work focuses on data-driven approaches to democracy, including political spatial analysis and women’s political representation. He has been involved in various collaborations with international agencies such as DFAT, CFLI, HIVOS, and The Asia Foundation, and served as a consultant for Bappenas and BPS for the project to revise the methodology of the Indonesian Democracy Index. He is also the founder of datapolitik.org and dataspasial.id, spatial mapping platforms for political competition and power in Indonesia. Currently, he also serves as Vice Chair of Cakra Wikara Indonesia (CWI), an independent research center focusing on political studies with a feminist perspective.
